QUILTED

Having found a beautiful quilt in Goodwill bins and seeing a resurgence of the quilting art form, I found new language and inspiration around my community. Patchwork and textile weaving are the craft of making many fibers into one whole. Seattle is very much a small town dressed up like a big city, we are each a square tightly sewn to one another and never too disconnected from the whole. This shoot brings together friends Riley Yale, Matthew Biruk Simmons, and Fiona Reilly to embody my own moody West Coast feel photographed by Matt Lyles and styled by Allison Halligan Lyles.
